Walter comes to The Landings via Rye, New York, after serving more than ten years as Head Professional and Director of Tennis at Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club. Walter has been a USPTA P-1 for over fifteen years and has been with The Landings Club for twelve of those years. Walter is regular in attendance at the National Tournament Conference, Har-Tru's Court Maintenance Seminars and National and Regional Tennis Teaching Conferences, which helps him keep up to date in the industry. At The Landings, Walter has managed local and national tournaments as well as Junior Summer Camps. He has coached numerous adult individuals and teams who have gone on to win the USTA Georgia State and District Championships - with many continuing on to the Sectional Championships. One team under Walter's tutelage went on to the National Mixed Doubles Championships. Walter is an experienced and talented tennis player and has won the Palmetto Dunes over 50 Tennis Championships, been nationally ranked in Platform Tennis and was once ranked in the top 10 in the USTA Eastern Section in Mixed Doubles.
