Landon Durham

Once a month, The Landings Club golf staff awards a well deserving young golfer with the coveted Youth Golfer Spotlight. The July Youth Golfer is Landon Durham. Congratulations Landon and keep up the good work!

How long have you been playing golf? Since age 4.

Favorite club: 8 iron

Favorite Course inside The Landings Club: Oakridge. 

Favorite Course outside of The Landings Club: Augusta Country Club right next to Augusta National

Longest Putt you ever made: 60'

What clubs/bag/ball/golf equipment do you play: Ping driver, Callaway irons, woods and wedges, and a Scotty Cameron putter. Titleist golf balls and bag.

Favorite Role Model/s: Jordan Spieth and Mason Ho

Who would be your dream team to play golf with? Ricky Fowler, Tiger Woods and Jordan Speith.

Best Golf Memory: Winning my first golf tournament.

Favorite Hobbies & Sports? Golf, Surfing and Shooting.

Best advice for golf and/or life: For golf or life... Just get through it!

What kind of job do you think you’d like to do as an adult? I hope to be a golf pro, but if not, probably somewhere in emergency services.
