After 83 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List, Were the Crawdad Sings is a beautiful coming of age novel that takes place along the North Carolina marsh. A lot of the wildlife and natural surroundings described in the book are similar to those that you would see on Skidway Island.

Currently number one on the New York Times Best Seller List, Little Fires Everywhere in about an artist upending a quiet town outside of Cleveland. This novel was recently adapted to a TV show starring Reese Witherspoon now available on Hulu.
The Silent Patient
If you’re looking for more of a suspense, make sure to pick up The Silent Patient. The novel follows Theo Faber, a criminal psychotherapist, as he uncovers the story of a woman’s act of violence against her husband.
