The Landings Club Begins $25 Million Revitalization Project

The Landings Club Breaks Ground on the New Franklin Creek Tennis Center

On Monday, January 8, 2018, staff, Club members, Board members and representatives from Choate Construction all gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the official start of construction on the new Franklin Creek Sports Campus.
Franklin Creek Sports Campus will be transformed into a true sports and family complex producing a new, 4,500 sq. ft. fast-casual dining facility with outdoor deck and pool bar, a resort style pool with child’s splash pad and zero-entry point, new lighted bocce courts and new pickleball courts.
“Today is a great day for our Club as we begin construction at Franklin Creek, the first of our three capital plan projects,” says Landings Club President Cliff Frohn. “Thank you to all our past Board of Governors and member volunteers who have spent countless hours to make this day a reality. We look forward to watching the progress over the coming months culminating in an anticipated opening in the fall of 2018.”
Construction marks phase one of the $25 million capital plan that will revitalize The Landings Club. Phases two an three will yield a brand new, 23,500 sq. ft. clubhouse and pool complex at Marshwood Clubhouse, as well as a fitness expansion and redesign at Oakridge Fitness Center. Members of The Landings Club voted and approved the overall project with construction taking place through the end of 2019.
