The Landings Women's Golf Association

Established in 1974, the Landings Women's Golf Association, or the LWGA, is the largest Club-based amateur women's golf organization.

Focused on our mission of "promoting excellence in golf and fellowship among our members," we offer our nearly 400 members organized weekly play days, an invitational tournament that introduces Savannah-area women golfers to our courses, popular annual tournaments that expose members to different game formats, friendly competition, and opportunities to support worthy local causes through our philanthropic initiatives. Our own website, will tell you everything you need to know about the LWGA. Membership is open to all female amateur golfers who are full equity members of The Landings Club. A maximum 18-hole handicap index of 32.9 or less is required for membership in the LWGA.

The LWGA is a well-organized group of active women who enjoy the game of golf and look forward to meeting and getting to know others who also love the game.

Every spring the LWGA throws the annual tournament Golf For A Cure which funds cancer research. In 2018, the LWGA was able to raise over $60,000 for cancer research directly benefiting the students of the Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia.
